In keeping with Prairie Moon’s commitment to the arts and Evanston, we offer the opportunity for you to purchase tickets to events with dinner on the day of the show at a bundled, discounted price.

Below you will see a list of current offerings. Purchase below and bring your ticket in on the day of the show to enjoy a two-course dinner to include soup or salad and a entrée of your choice. Tax and tip not included.

SWEET, by Harrison David Rivers,

Sweet poetically tells the story of Retha and Nina Baker, sisters who have always been close folding laundry together, chasing fireflies together, and enduring the summer heat together. Set on the outskirts of an all-black town in rural Kansas, SWEET is a coming of age story about the sacrifices we make to hold on to the ones we love.

Cost is $20 per ticket, which includes a two-course dinner and tickets to the shows below. Tax and tip are not included. Please present proof of purchase to both the restaurant and theatre.

LADY DAY AT EMERSON’S BAR & GRILL, by Lanie Robertson,

LADY DAY AT EMERSON’S BAR & GRILL recounts Billie Holiday’s life story through the songs that made her famous. Through her poignant voice and moving songs, one of the greatest jazz singers of all-time shares her loves and her losses. Audra McDonald won the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. Our production will feature internationally renowned singer/actress Mardra Thomas and the incomparable jazz pianist Reggie Thomas; they will grace our stage with one of the most exquisite and haunting performances of the year.
