ABOUT PAUL
Based in Chicago, Paul Mutzabaugh has worked professionally for over 20 years in both live and studio settings, enjoying a variety of genres and disciplines. Versatile in a myriad of keyboard instruments – acoustic & electric pianos, Hammond B3 organ, synthesizers, and accordion – he has also developed a unique voice on the electric bass. Additional doublings include acoustic & electric guitars, as well as auxiliary percussion.
Paul also works consistently as a producer and audio engineer in service of a wide range of artists. Assisting others to realize their creative vision in recorded form is a particularly fulfilling aspect of his music-making.
ABOUT MOON JAZZ
Fulton Street Collective in Chicago and Prairie Moon restaurant, 1635 Chicago Avenue in Evanston, are proud to offer affordable, top notch jazz every Wednesday night from 9PM – 11PM in downtown Evanston. Prairie Moon is a favorite restaurant in Evanston serving authentic regional American cuisine and is known as Evanston’s original craft beer bar.
Every Wednesday a different jazz group will play from 9PM-11PM. There is an affordable $7 cover, which goes entirely to the musicians and to support Fulton Street Collective.
